Where we are

The Hostel is situated in the medioeval town of Barrea, in the heart of the most famous National Park of Italy, Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo. Bear, wolf, lynx, deer, are all regularly seen in the area. This area is famous for its incredible richness in bio-diversity. The Hostel is ideally situated to anyone wishing to explore this remarkable area. Napoli and Roma are respectively 1,5 hours and 2,5 hours far.

What you can do

Come and enjoy our fantastic lake with its beaches, mountains and wildlife. There are several activities you can do: Swimming, birdwatching, canoe, trekking, skiing, archeological, historical and eno-gastronomic tours.

The hosts are happy to recommend good hiking in the area. It is also possible to ask for a professional guide. The price is 25 Euro. Children under 14 years old pay half price.
